GoPro support completely ghosting me – what actually works to get a response?
I’ve been trying to reach GoPro support for over 8 days and I’m getting nowhere. Here’s exactly what I did:
First I opened a case through their website. They sent me an automated email, which I replied to directly. After still getting no response, I went back to their website and submitted another message referencing my existing case number.
8+ days, zero human response.
Has anyone actually managed to get through to them? Is there a channel that actually works – live chat, phone, social media? Any tips appreciated.

Hey all,

I’ve been a GoPro subscriber for a while and my current camera just bit the dust, so I’m looking at using the crash replacement that’s included in the subscription.

Here’s the thing: my camera is a pretty old model that GoPro no longer sells or stocks, so they can’t just replace it with the same model. Which means they’d have to offer me something current.

With the Mission 1 dropping on May 28th, I’m wondering if it’s worth holding off on filing the claim until it’s actually on shelves — so there’s at least a chance they’d offer it as a replacement. Or does GoPro support typically just default to whatever the current Hero flagship is regardless?

Has anyone been in a similar situation where their model was discontinued and managed to get a good replacement out of it? How did you approach the support conversation? Any advice appreciated.
