Arizona Adobe after 2 months

Worn maybe 4 times a week , they've gotten so much "character" (don't want to use the P word lol)

I've only wiped them with a damp microfiber and horsehair brush once in a while, but obligatory if I was in a "sandy" locale like my backyard or the dog park

Heck I even got a ketchup splash on my left boot, but I acted almost immediately by removing the excess with paper towel and water ( I unironically wet both boots with water so they'd look "the same" - though only one boot got ketchup... but it just looks good, the ketchup didn't penetrate the leather as much as I thought it would) I dried it by blotching/spotting and not rubbing the paper towel, then I horsehair brushed the to get the paper towel residue off)

Thoughts? And, if you can, show me how your boots are aging!

Is what I circled in red normal?

So I got two pairs of Captains between April 22 and 26, Matte Black Stormkings and Arizona Adobe, both Kingmaker Last in 13W(EE). I love them!

I know creasing is normal, it's how leather behaves, my Clark's Bushacre 3s and my old Dingo Rev Up Harness boots crease too.

• Photo 2: a closer look

• Photo 3: Arizona Adobe 1

• photo 4: Arizona Adobe 2

I know what I circled in green is 100% normal, but what about what I circled in red?

I don't wear these boots every day and let them rest for at least a day or two.

Any clue? Thanks!

They arrived today, 13W(EE) ! Less than 2 hours of wear.

They are true to size thanks to the new Kingmaker Last and they feel just like my matte black Stormking ones

Also, the color is pretty spot on; it really depends on the lighting.

They may look terracota-ish with very direct and harsh light, but they don't look Tobacco-ish in low light, I'd say I got a good colored pair, but I've only seen them in pre golden hour light.

Here are ome shots; Lots of dirty mirrors, my dog Apple (she's the best)

I love how my Black Matte Stormking fit so much that I placed an order for Arizona Adobe in 13W

I did not size down, and after some research, I found out that they're using the Kingmaker Last, which is a little bit wider in the toe box apparently according to some reviews, so that's perfect for me . They fit snuggly and still need breaking in without them being uncomfortable

Can't wait to get these :))
