We're thrilled to see that Jason Reynolds is back in Columbia! We hosted him with the Library in 2018 and it was wonderful. This time, he is here for the free Books In Bloom Festival this weekend (May 9th in Color Burst Park). Looks like he will be on the main stage at 11:30. The festival runs from 11 till 3.
This year, our Writer in Residence in the Howard County School System, Karen Outen, will be a part of the festival -- trust us, she is great. One of our favorite parts of the day is the HCPSS Our Voice and Navigating the Margins student readings. That is just fantastic.
