I'm helping my company build two computers that will function as servers and run some scans/software for us. Nothing majorly intensive, but rather than running the software/scans on our regular work laptops we want to build dedicated machines for them.

I've only ever built gaming computers, and haven't in a few years, so was curious what y'all would recommend. I'm thinking I'll do 32 GB ram, no GPU, 500 GB SSD, and 1 TB HDD. Not sure what CPU to go with given the scope, so open to suggestions.

What CPU would you all recommend for a dedicated work machine focused on running some non-intensive software/scans as well as storage?
