Hi All
I have a question, I have been paying $90 per month for Home Internet services and recently my contract was up after two years and without notice or warning my next bill is $175.
I haven’t had time to call them yet, but just wondering if I have any grounds to refuse payment as I was not for warned of my contract expiring. I have been previously told by Telus representatives that once a contract is up, they go to a standard rate.
This happened to me two years ago when my last contract was up, but I did not dispute the charges.
I am done with Telus home Internet and I am looking for cheaper contracts. Even $90 is steep and doing an Internet speed test. I’m only getting 59 mps.
Your opinions are much appreciated.
Cheers
