First Cyberdeck Build

Just starting to get into electronics and tech and this is my first cyberdeck build. I used a jewelry box as the shell and reused the fake leather from the compartment shelf it had to cover a foam board. The screen also sits in a foam board secured by double sided adhesive tape on the back and electrical tape on the outside.

Parts list below.

I’m super new to this, so would really appreciate suggestions, things to add, improve or do differently.

Display Quality: Horizontal Lines

PSP 3003: Is this normal for PSP screens? I haven’t played years and don’t remember the quality being slightly blurry and with horizontal lines all along the screen.
