Did some vinyl flooring in a storage room in basement. Tight squeeze to work in there and in the process my utility knife made its way in the drain as indicated in picture. I checked with a light into the drain and it looks like it does a 90 degree towards the black cap.

I’m thinking that knife is sitting after that 90 degree joint and will remain there if I don’t find a way to retrieve it.
Does this poses any concerns in the long run? Any advice in retrieving the knife?
