So im fixing up a gen 7 gt celica and its been having this weird issue. Every time I start it up it'll either die instantly or if I give it even the slightest amount of throttle its rev up way to high to about 5 or 6 thousand rpm. It was running before I took off the intake manifold to replace the starter and the intake manifold gasket but never ran after that and has this weird problem. I replaced the airbox, MAS, fuel injectors, spark plugs, ignition coils, and idle air control valve but nothings worked. Does anyone know what is wrong with this thing and how I could fix it?
Also i got it running after I replaced the fuel injectors but one of the injectors wasn't properly seating on the fuel rail and was spraying gas everywhere, so I put some o ring lube on it to see if it'd fix the issue and then the car went back to not running at all.
If anyone has any advice I could really use it, im really stuck on this and really want to get this car running.
