What does everyone think is the most important singular item in the series (excluding donut’s biscuit from book 1 because I feel like that one is obvious)? If the item itself is a spoiler please be mindful lol. (I’m personally on chapter 42 of book 6). My vote is the cookbook but I’m curious to see what everyone says.
So right now I have the 990b right now but I can’t really reliably place the rear speakers in the back being plugged in all the time and while I can set them to be in the front on the Smart things app, I like being able to have true surrounds for certain shows and when I watch movies. I can also temporarily plug them in behind the couch for certain scenarios but it’s a little janky with the wires awkwardly dangling there. I have someone that would be willing to trade my 990b for their 1000mk2 which could benefit me because of the ability to just detach the surrounds when I need and place them on the corners of the couch. Price difference between the two isn’t important but I am wondering: is the quality of the JBL 1000mk2 good enough to justify the switch? Or is the 990b just that much better. I am fine staying with the 990b if the 1000mk2 is really too much of a downgrade I was just looking for opinions. Thanks in advance.
