New Etsy Seller Looking For Honest Feedback & Advice

New Etsy Seller Looking For Honest Feedback & Advice

Hey everyone 🤍

I recently opened my Etsy shop, Hogan Apothecary Goods, and would love some honest feedback. I’ve posted in a few Reddit groups already trying to learn more about Etsy, branding, SEO, and product photos.

Right now I make self-care/body products like sugar scrubs, oils, cleansers, and gift sets. I’m also working on adding rollerball perfume oils and eventually room/linen sprays once I get all my supplies in.

I’m trying to improve my shop and make everything look more professional, so any advice is appreciated especially on photos, branding, pricing, the way I word my descriptions, and what makes a new shop look trustworthy.

Also just want to make sure it’s not too confusing for the personalization areas :(

I did have a couple other items which were water canned items cowboy candy and jalapeño carrots that I have recently removed due to realizing it’s illegal to sale in my state :(

I see so many people doing great with their shops within the first month several sales
But I’ve only had 4

Thanks 🤍

I have learned so much from the last time I posted in another page on Reddit excited to keep improving

HELP ME!! My Etsy shop needs help tell me what you think I can fix?

I have been slowly re working on my shop after getting some feedback from this page not long ago. I changed the name of my products, added the fluffy sugar scrub that you can choose the label name/scent/color (I make these for my kids/nieces/nephews/friends kids/etc) so decided to add it to the shop as well.

my cowboy candy was selling but I had take it down due to Oklahomas laws where you can not legally sale them.

does anyone have any ideas on how to get sales? or what the wait time is? I just see some people making big sales in a short amount of time

I also fixed my shipping to a set amount instead of having Etsy fixing it since the shipping was outrageous prior to me fixing it. hoganapothecarygoods.etsy.com

Clit pain

I seriously need answers because this is becoming almost debilitating at this point.

For YEARS I’ve had episodes of severe clitoral pain/throbbing/burning pressure that comes and goes. The paid literally radiates to my teeth at the end of me peeing. Sometimes it feels like intense nerve pain, sometimes pressure, sometimes almost like I constantly need to pee because the pain radiates through everything.

This current flare has lasted almost a MONTH with no end in sight.

I’ve been misdiagnosed before with possible ureter stones because nothing obvious could actually be seen physically. I’ve had people brush it off because externally everything “looks normal.”

I’ve checked under the clitoral hood myself thinking maybe it was a hair, smegma pearl, irritation, etc. but there’s literally nothing there that I can see. No obvious lesion, no visible swelling, no hair trapped, nothing.

At this point I’m starting to wonder if this is pudendal nerve pain/neuralgia or some kind of pelvic floor nerve issue because the pain feels DEEP and neurological almost.

Sometimes it throbs so bad it’s hard to focus on anything else. Tight clothing aggravates it. Stress seems to aggravate it. Sitting for long periods sometimes does too.

Has ANYONE experienced something similar?
If so:
- what were you diagnosed with?
- what doctor finally helped?
- what testing did they do?
- what actually gave relief?

I feel like I’m losing my mind because this kind of pain is impossible to explain to people unless they’ve experienced it themselves.

I started a small handmade self-care/feminine care shop recently and I’ve been working nonstop on it the past few days.

I’ve got products listed, photos up, and I even turned on Etsy ads… but I’m barely getting any traction.

I feel like I’m missing something but I can’t tell if it’s my photos, pricing, or just being brand new.

If you’ve been through this, what actually helped you get your first sales?

I’d really appreciate honest feedback 🙏

I sale items like the one pictured there’s more on there I make it all myself and have put a lot time, money, and thought into it and just don’t know how to get off the ground

I’m just trying to find out the best way to make something happen with my shop
