
Unable to activate Blocked Account despite multiple Postident verifications
Hi,
I have been trying to activate my blocked account for the past 6 days (I am already in Germany). Here is what all I have done;
- On 12th May I started the activation process on the app.
- I entered my German address, entered my German phone number, uploaded the documents the app asked (my visa, my rent agreement), selected the current month (May) as the month I wanted to start having my payout, and then entered my tax details.
- I then chose the postident verification in person (as that was the only option available).
- I received the QR code, downloaded the postident app and entered the case number I received with the QR code in the email to get the QR code on the app itself, and went to a post office near me. After I had signed, and they scanned my passport and asked for my address.
- My app again went to the identity verification waiting screen. (attached below) I thought there must have been some error with the verification so clicked on coupon download, which sent me another coupon/QR, and I went to another post office branch and did the process again. I checked on the FAQ on the expatrio website, and it asks to wait for 1 to 2 business days.
- The app showed activation processing for a few minutes but was back to identity verification waiting.
- This was on 12th May, it is now 18th May. I thought I had waited enough, and the app status was still not updated. I clicked on coupon download, which sent me yet another coupon/QR, and I went to yet another post office branch today and did the process again.

I request urgent help regarding the same as I need access to the funds in my blocked account. If anyone, or someone from Expatrio, could help me with the same I would be very grateful.
