hey guys, so i turned 20 today. kinda weird realizing im not a teenager anymore lol!! but honestly its mostly just stressing me out today.

im currently in my 2nd year of CSE(about to enter 3rd year). the biggest thing hitting me right now is this massive feeling of being behind everyone else. how do you actually stop feeling like that?

it seems like half my batch has been doing dsa or dev since before college even started. mostly because they had an older brother or cousin in the field who gave them the exact roadmap early on and told them what to focus on. I never had that older sibling figure to tell me what actually matters or warn me about mistakes before i make them. so im just figuring it out blind and constantly second guessing myself.

honestly i dont even have some deep burning passion for one specific domain, im mostly just interested in the opportunities and stability that they can get you down the line. but i cant decide if i should go all in on comptitive programming or dev or what. whatever i look at, it feels like i am already 2 years late to the party!! literally!!

so to anyone whos been through this:

how do you kill that constant feeling that your already behind in life/career?

what should i definetly focus on right now at 20?

are there non technical things i should prioritize too? (like improving english fluency / communication skills?)

any general life advices or tips for a 20yo would be super appreciated. just feeling a bit lost and overwhelmed today. thanks.
