The little orange rascal has officially found a home with me and my two kitties, Bean and Calcifer. His name is Hamish, named after one of the Nac Mac Feegles in Wee Free Men. Bean has sniffed at him and hissed a few times, but doesn’t seem to angry. Calcifer has not seen the kitten and I don’t think he even knows that there is another cat.

Hamish is a little Houdini and has taken to escaping both his pin AND my office. When he gets a little bigger and the other cats like him a little more, hell be able to roam intentionally. Until then, I’m just going to keep putting him back in the room when he gets out (or maybe moving him to another room).

(Also posted onto CatsWithJobs) My coworker came in frantic because she saw a kitten go under someone’s car in our parking lot. Lured him out, and had to stick my arm up someone’s car to yank him out, then took him home in a copy paper box!

He’s really skinny so I’m working on getting some meat on his bones, but he is super cuddly, sweet, and playful. He’s seen my other cats a few times and tries to run towards my girl, Bean, whenever he sees her. She is less than interested. Hopefully they become friends soon because this little guy has stolen my heart!
