Roubo leg joint practice.

I’m a bit of a novice but slowly plucking away at my workbench. I did a practice joint for the legs to see what I was getting into. I think I know how to get it closer but wow is this joint robust.

Would you guys leave it like this or wedge the top?

Grabbed these at a tool thrift store. Got really excited to see the No. 7, cap doesn’t seem to be original but everything else is.

Any help on identifying this transitional plane would be awesome. It’s in great shape and I’m excited to see it restored a bit.

Miller Falls plane is actually from a friend. I’m going to fully restore it with a handful of other planes. I’ve never held one before but they seem to be really solid.

And what looks like a full set of Irwin bits. As well as a Miller Falls brace.
