Confusion with Players Overvaluing Stats/Delta
Coming from other games like League, where itemization amongst pros is disgustingly bad, I am completely confused about pro players' usage of stats. I frequently see them reference stats as insightful when the sample size is from low ranks (irrelevant data), or the main issue is that all of these stats are COMPLETELY contextual. Item economy completely alters data, players inexperienced with certain lines etc...
I do understand that extreme outliers in statistics, like a -2 delta may be like "okay something aint right", but more subtle ones seem irrelevant and just add cognitive bias.

I got to GM in set 14 (first season ranked) with 2.2 AVP then got bored cause it became to flowcharty and exotech item rng PMO. Might try again in set 20 if its hype.
