How risky is it to buy a 2016 Model S 85D with 100k miles? Am I looking at a nightmare of repairs?
I'm relocating to Tampa FL and found a few used 85D and P90D in my budget but I'm scared shitless of any surprise repairs past 100k miles. How reliable are the Model S from 2015-2017? I mean I will get them inspected (HV battery, motors, suspensions, etc.) but I'm still stupid paranoid about total surprise failures...
I don't mind $2-6k in repairs/maintenance. It's the +$15-20k repair bills that would make me jump off a building.
Should I pull the trigger and buy one? Or should I run away as fast as I can?
