Please excuse all the shrimp poop on the substrate, I haven't vacuumed it in a while.
I woke up this morning and Gilgamesh here was lying on his side on the bottom of the tank. He is able to swim, but his movements are slow and jerky. He was interested in his food but not chasing it down like he normally does. He can reach the surface to refill his labyrinth but then goes back down to the bottom to rest. No ammonia or nitrates showing up.
The helpful cashier at my LFS says she thinks the diet I have been feeding him is not nutritionally complete. I've gotten a few things to rectify that. I also picked up some aquarium salt and an air stone, which I have not put in the tank yet. I did a small water change this morning when I saw he was ailing.
Any other thoughts would be appreciated! I want to help him but I don't want to panic and make it worse.
