Boils
I’m having an issue where I get really itchy after showering
what seemed to help a lot was lightly washing with a wash cloth (fresh each time)
exfoliating the dead skin off helped but then I would get really really itchy after that too like a day later
so then I realised i needed to shower with a wash cloth like once or twice a week followed immediately by moisturizer
that’s working ok, but the moisturizer on exfoliated skin is making boils. big chunky painful pustules.
doesn’t matter what moisturizer I use and doesn’t matter what body part
if I moisturize it seems to trap bacteria and grow it more than if I don’t moisturize
so now I’m choosing between itchy and boils — thank you skin barrier.
anyone had this issue?
for context I’m a clean freak and am not dirty.
