AITA for booking flights after my gf said anything was fine regarding layovers?

My girlfriend and I are planning an international trip and I was handling the flight booking. Before I bought anything, I asked her multiple times if she had any preferences about airlines, layovers, airports, etc. She basically told me she didn’t care as long as the travel times weren’t insane.

I found a really good deal on Saudia that saved us a pretty significant amount of money compared to other options. The layover timing was good, baggage was included, and overall it just made the most financial sense. I’ve also flown Middle Eastern airlines before, including Emirates and Qatar Airways, and had perfectly normal experiences, even exceptional for Qatar. You see tons of passengers dressed in regular western clothing all the time.

When I told her I booked it, she got upset and said Saudia was an unreasonable choice because “they have a dress code.” She likes traveling in mid-length skirts because she finds them comfortable, and she claimed she wouldn’t even be allowed to dress how she normally does.

I looked it up on their site and all I could really find was guidance about not wearing clothing that’s offensive to the public, which sounds like pretty standard airline wording. I told her there’s no actual rule saying women have to cover up beyond normal public decency standards, especially for international passengers just transiting through. It would be different if actually entering the country.

Now she’s saying this should have been “obviously off limits” and that when she said she had no preferences, she didn’t mean “pick an airline where I have to worry about what I’m wearing.” I feel like if she had strong feelings about avoiding certain airlines or regions, she should’ve mentioned that before I booked the cheaper tickets. I'm even wondering at this point if it is just a racism/xenophobia thing.
