PVCs - (17 YO Male)

So I was recently diagnosed with PVCs, it came up back in March during a blood drive. I've given both double and whole blood in the past, and they denied me back in March for an irregular heartbeat. I thought it was odd, and after going to the doctor, getting an ultrasound, EKG, and heart monitor for 3 days, I was told it was PVCs. I haven't felt that they are debilitating, I only feel the fluttering on occasion through the day, I can workout just fine.

I was prescribed metoproplol succ at 25 mgs, and I'll be taking the first tab today. My only concern is in about a year's time, I plan on enlisting in the Navy, and want to know if this condition and me taking this medication will prevent it or if it will clear up by then.
