Hey there! So this is dumb and I don't really know cemetery etiquette but 40 years ago, my mom's fiance passed away suddenly. He was buried pretty close to where I live and my mom won't go visit the grave. I wasn't related to him by any means but something about it makes me kinda sad and I thought it would be nice if me and my friend go and have a picnic on his grave to just... Chat and update him on how my mom's life turned out. I'm not sure if that would be considered disrespectful or seen as like... Breaking a rule? So any like... Advice would be helpful. Thank you!
