I can’t find a single person who’s experienced these issues
So I just built my first PC. I did extensive research to build this and to my understanding, I did everything correctly. I made sure everything was connected and secured, bought reliable parts from reputable brands, updated my bios, I did everything I could except maybe some poor cable management but to my understanding, that’s just an aesthetic issue. First, I had an issue getting my bios settings to save. Sometimes they would, most times they wouldn’t. Whenever I would save my bios and exit, my system would fail to boot unless I shut it off, turned it back on and went straight to boot. That led to another issue. Whenever I would restart, my screen would go black but my lights and fans would keep running until I eventually had to hold down the power button. After trying many times to get XMP and reBAR enabled at the same time, eventually it wouldn’t post at all. The fans and the lights would run and it would read my mouse but not my keyboard for some reason. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, resetting the CMOS, everything I could but every time I press the power button now, it does the exact same thing and for some reason, only the light on my cpu cooler’s rgb (thermalright frozen infinity 360) stays on even after I shut everything off. On top of that, on two occasions after turning the pc on, the lights flickered and my psu made a few clicking noises. If anyone has any answers, I’m open to any suggestions or at least a diagnosis.
