My mother's friend is an HR. Recently, she met my mom and was talking about job market and hiring. What she told my mom shocked me and boiled my blood. She casually said that sometimes she rejects people for their looks and also prefers to hire kids from villages or small towns. When my mom asked why she said that because people from smaller towns and villages will work more for lesser salary.. kids from bigger cities lay down boundaries like this isn't a part of their job or they aren't getting paid for this... This reflects the mentality of these bastards.. they reject people out of jealousy and want to exploit people the best they can..

This all started 6 months before today. The biggest mistake I made was apply for a job at HCL. First they conducted a 3 - 4 hour long test with 4 sections. Cleared it. Then conducted versant test, cleared it. Then conducted a technical interview, cleared it. The way they were conducting the interviews was appalling. We were at the location from morning 8 to 7pm. Then they drop a bomb, you need to clear a hackathon to get placed, this was never mentioned in the JD. What this did was that from college we were blocked from applying for any other job opportunities in the 5lpa slab. Then they said we had to regularly attend online training, then even 1 month offline training and only after 3 months we would have the hackathon. They said they would hire everyone hackathon was only formality purpose. Lies. They made teams and I was stuck with idiots who couldn't create even a folder on desktop, made the whole fucking thing on my own. Finally, I was the only one who got selected from my team. The HR said they would have a HR round which was non elimination just for document verification. College said whatever they asked(eg are u ready for relocation etc) say yes to it and I did. Answered everything politely and formally saying yes to everything. When the final list came out my name wasn't there along with 2 other people. Now placement season is over, cleared everything yet they removed me from last stage which was supposed to be non elimination. When placement officer asked for the reason they made up an excuse that we had bad behaviour. WTF?? Now I don't have an offer in hand and I am supposed to write my final exam on thursday. FUCKED.
