Unbelievable.

Suno had a clear off-ramp...just pay GEMA a fair licensing fee like Spotify or Apple do, take the L, & move on.

Instead, they chose the "nuke our own user base" strategy.

They're literally punishing paying customers for their own legal screw-up. The watermark isn't protecting artists,it's protecting Suno's ass while making sure you can't do anything useful with your own creations.

Total betrayal of trust.

Canceling my subscriptions and they can stick their watermark where the sun don't shine.

Finally got my first Nvidia GPU, my first dedicated GPU EVER.

After weeks of researching, guessing cable compatibility, and nervously plugging an exposed PCB into my mini PC, I finally built my first eGPU setup, and it turned on the first try. I just sat there grinning at the desktop for a solid minute. Lmao.

The gear list:

Mini PC: GMKtec EVO‑T1 (Intel Core Ultra 9 285H, 64 GB DDR5, OCuLink port)

GPU: ASUS RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB

eGPU dock: AOOSTAR DEG‑1 (OCuLink)

PSU: Corsair PSU (for the dock)

OS: Windows 11 Pro

I use this rig for AI tools, media production, software development, and heavy multitasking. The mini PC handles light work; eGPU takes over when I need compute or rendering power. 16 GB of VRAM in a compact setup feels like a huge deal tbh.

Why OCuLink? No space for a full tower where I live. OCuLink gave me desktop-class GPU performance without needing much room. I worried about stability, since it isn't as simple as Thunderbolt, but it has been rock solid since the first boot. Putting together the DEG-1 and PSU was easy, even for someone doing this for the first time.

I have a few questions:

Current 5060 Ti experience: Has anyone run a 5060 Ti with 16 GB? How is it for mixed jobs like AI inference, rendering, or light gaming? Are there specific driver quirks, thermal issues, or noise observations I should know about?

Future upgrade path: I might need more VRAM or raw power later. Would a 5070 be a big jump over the 5060 Ti, or should i save up for a higher-end card? The power budget and physical size matter most. While the DEG-1 can handle full-size cards, what GPU would you slot in next without needing to rebuild my setup?

OCuLink specifics: Any tips for eGPU over OCuLink? Things like PCIe lane negotiation, power delivery quirks, or optimal driver installation order would help. I already set the BIOS to Gen 4 and disabled ASPM. What else might I be missing?

Cooling & noise: For open-air docks like the DEG-1, is GPU fan noise better or worse than in a typical case? Any tips for keeping it quiet without complex custom loops?

Anyone else have experience with this model? I heard Nvidia is going to stop making it soon which makes me grateful I was able to get it before that happens but bummer for anyone else who wants to get their hands on it.
