Dual POV?

Besides the few bonus chapters, is Not In Love the only Ali book with a pov from the mmc?

Granted, I haven't read Mate and Bride, but I did glance at them in the bookstore and if I remember well, they don't have a dual pov?

I loved Eli's pov in NIL, even if she did write it in the third person. I wish we had more male pov's, preferably in first person 😅

The Love Hypothesis - bonus content

Can anyone send me any type of bonus content or chapters about The Love Hypothesis? I have read the bonus chapter in the hotel from Adam's pov (when they have sex for the first time), which was included in my book, and I know about their cameos in Love, Theoretically and Deep End, but I've heard there is more, so pleeease let me know!

edit - I just remembered and found the email from when I signed up for the newsletter, so I got chapter 1 from Adam's pov as well, are there any other ones?

It's a great time to be an Ali Hazelwood fan

I am soo happy, we're getting so much and three(3!) movie adaptations!! What!?

I am a little bit scared on how they're going to make these movies, especially with Deep End, but I am also beyond excited. I think The Love Hypothesis is going to do great, so fingers crossed for a Not In Love and Problematic Summer Romance series in our future.

AAAAHH! Super excited! 😄

Protecting Secrets

I'm looking for any kind of feedback on my story, the good, the bad, I want it all!

It's an original mafia romance, and I post updates regularly. I'm really proud of my latest chapter and would really love some feedback on what's written so far! There are six chapters + prologue, but they're short so it's a quick read so far!

Link: Protecting Secrets

Summary: Chiara is a 26 year old born into mafia. She's grateful that mafia isn't what it used to be and she often exercised her freedom and kept some big secrets from her family. Everyone knew she inherited her fight for women's rights from her mother, but no one knew how deep it went and how fierce she really was. That's why her loving brothers and father couldn't understand why she volunteered for the arranged marriage.

Enzo is 31 years old and next in line to become one of the five dons. An unexpected event forces him to agree to an arranged marriage necessary to keep the peace, and he might as well satisfy his father's wishes to marry before taking over as a don. Enzo planned on keeping his bride at a distance and detaching himself from her, but he never planned for the gorgeous Chiara to use every weapon in her arsenal to win him over and use him to reach her goals.

Why isn't there more talk about Check & Mate?

I have eight more chapters to go and I absolutely love this book!! I inhaled it in one day and can't put it down, I'll finish it now, but couldn't wait to make a post 😆

Also, I can't believe Ali give us a>!virgin MMC!< and put it into this YA, closed-door novel, makes me wanna cry a little bit.

I never laugh out loud with books, but I have with this one. Seriously, if you were putting off reading this book, go pick it up now!

edit: I just finished it and I love it sooo much. >!The two twists that come at the end were great, I saw one of them coming from miles away, which is why I think the second one took me so by surprise,!< which never happens to me! I seriously cannot recommend this book enough! I just wish we had more insight into Nolan and his POV, he seems very interesting and I'd love to see it from his pov

Also, anytime anyone posts a fanfic it motivates me to write and post my psr fics so thank you and please keep going!

edit: how does everyone feel about au fanfics? I've been playing around with an idea, but I'm not sure how well it'd be received

Get a copy before they change it to the movie poster!

I finally got myself a copy of The Love Hypothesis, because I know that once the movie comes out we'll only be seeing the movie poster version of the book in the stores, like with The Deal (Off Campus)! I'm not saying it won't maybe be cute, but I like the original, so I wanted to have it, and give a reminder to someone who shares my opinion.

Also, I was saving TLH until September, so that when I get an unavoidable book hangover, I wouldn't have to wait long for the movie, but I think I'll cave and read it early, somebody helpp!

(I haven't read it yet since I was introduced to Ali only this year and I absolutely love her, so I'm forcing myself to pace my reading and not go through all of her books in a month, however tempting!)

Have you ever felt your ovaries?

Can someone explain to me what do authors mean when they write things like:

"making my ovaries tingle"

I can understand it in some context as a metaphor for wanting to make someone a father, I guess? Although that is a stretch, but in a sexual context I can't understand this at all!

Is it me? Am I supposed to feel mine lol? What's everyone's take on this?

Hormones test

My doctor finally refereed me to a blood hormonal test, and I'm supposed to do a progesterone blood test tomorrow. From my understanding, it's to confirm ovulation. For some reason I had my ovulation this month, while I don't ovulate most of the time. Should I skip the test until my next cycle, just so my doctor wouldn't be like - everything is fine, you ovulate fine?

Also, should I do all of my hormonal tests on the same cycle? I know they're done on different days of the cycle, but should they all be in the same cycle, or is it okay to do them in two cycles?

What's your favourite cica cream?

I used ETUDE Soonjung 10-Panthensoside Cica Balm and I liked it, however it's no longer available. It was thick and nourishing and I think panthenol helped, maybe? I haven't used any others so I can't be sure. What is your holy grail for cica creams? (I have mixed acne prone skin, and by acne prone I mean I don't remember a single day of my life without acne 🥲)

Love him Like Water by Jessica Gadziala; Lombardi Family Series

I just read {Love him Like Water by Jessica Gadziala} and it was a good read. Upon reading it, my first thought was that I want Cinna and Nico to get together in the next book and I was a bit disappointed when I saw the next book is Cinna and Dav - I get why it makes sense, I just think Nico and Cinna would make a great story!

Anyone else share my opinion on Cinna and Nico? Can you let me know if {Need him like Oxygen by Jessica Gadziala} portrays Cinna as a badass that she is? No big spoilers pls, I can't stop myself from reading them.

Garnier PureActive Cleanser

Did anyone try this Garnier cleanser and how did it do for you? I saw this the other day in my DM and I was pulled in by the packaging (it's stupid, I can't even explain it lol), but I took a look at it and I'd like to read some more reviews if anyone used it and how did it work for your skin type? Thanks besties! 💖

Any books that have pregnancy that wasn't a result of a one night stand?

Okay so I went through some previous posts and megathread for pregnancy tropes but almost all of them are one night stand turned into pregnancy. I'd really like something where they develop a relationship first and then they get pregnant. I'm also down for a series, if the story goes on through multiple books.

I'd like:

  • contemporary romance
  • established relationship before pregnancy
  • happy ending
  • mmc's baby
  • edit: mmc is there for at least half of the pregnancy (sorry forgot to mention this!)

Things I'm not feeling for this specific case:

  • fantasy
  • paranormal
  • historic romance
  • western
  • one night stand turned into pregnancy

Thanks everyone!

Dean and his twilight reference

Although we didn't get the scene where Dean and Beau discuss the Twilight series, I still love that he referenced to Allie as his Bella here <3
