Starting my journey after not being in school in 10+ years
Hi everyone! I’m currently starting my journey toward becoming a BCBA. Right now, I’m taking courses through Sophia Learning to earn transferable credits before starting at Purdue Global. I’m also completing my 40-hour RBT training so I can get hands-on experience in the field sooner.
I haven’t been in college for over 10 years, so jumping back into school feels a little intimidating and very different from when I was younger.
I’d really appreciate any advice you wish you had when starting this path, especially:
experiences transferring credits,
balancing work/life/school,
tips for succeeding in ABA programs,
or anything you wish you knew before becoming an RBT/BCBA.
Thank you in advance I’m excited but definitely nervous too!
