My car was with a service shop. On return, I noticed damage- scratches, scuffs and dents on rear passenger door. From this image, they're saying this was previously damaged and then repainted.
I bought the car new 4 years ago and never had any re-paint done.
Does this picture prove it was repainted?
In their words: The photo definitely depicts a panel that has been repainted with some sort of touch up. There are not multiple layers of the topcoat when scratched that deep. It will always show a different primer level that you can see in the photo along the wheel well. It’s either Black or Yellow below the top layer.
