What is your opinion on AI content on TV?
Sometimes my family member watches Chinese TV channel and I notice that Chinese TV channels have quite a lot of AI generated content for both the advertistment (using AI to generate the whole ads or part of the ads) and some shows (for example on 春晚or other events, some stage effects are all AI and the host was proudly talking about the stage effect afterwards lol)
I think for those cartoonish ads, they can be fun to some people, expect creating the problem of people losing their jobs. But for those AI ads which shows "real" humans showing products targeting older people (for example those watches for monitoring their health), I just think it is unethical because they are very likely to be a scam to get money from the old people and it would be worse if the elderly actually rely on those products. And I wonder why these types of ads are allowed on TV, or if the TV channel are supporting this.
I wonder what are your opinions on these AI content on TV, do you think it is too much? I know maybe nowadays people no longer watches TV, but it just bugs me that some older generations still watches TV and maybe they cannot tell it is AI. Also, I feel like if AI is highly accepted like this, more people are losing their jobs to AI.
