Is it better to sell or pawn gold?

I have this little gold bracelet and I feel weird even thinking about getting rid of it. But money is tight this month. I keep going back and forth on is it better to sell or pawn gold if you might wanna get it back later. The pawn place near me said I could buy it back but I dont really trust the fine print. If I sell it outright am I just gonna get lowballed anyway? How do you even know what a fair price looks like.

honest question for anyone with a pear cut diamond ring

Okay so I've been lurking here for months trying to figure out if a pear cut diamond is the right choice for me. I feel like I see a lot of people saying they want one but not as many people sharing what its actually like to own one long term. I'm curious about the practical stuff mostly. Does the shape feel awkward to wear at first. Do people notice it more than a round or oval would. Does it feel like a conversation starter or does it ever feel like too much. I'm not trying to talk myself out of it I genuinely just want to hear real experiences from people who made this choice.
