[Developer - Promotional Sunday] Foreverse: Android + iPhone app for character cards and AI novel continuation (BYOK, 60+ providers)

[Developer - Promotional Sunday] Foreverse: Android + iPhone app for character cards and AI novel continuation (BYOK, 60+ providers)

Developer disclosure: I work on Foreverse.

Platform Name: Foreverse

URL: https://foreverse.app (Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.foreverse.android)

NSFW Policy: Client app, not a bot-hosting site, so there is no public character feed. What a chat can contain depends on the model you connect (your own key or our credits). Hard lines: sexual content involving minors, harmful deception about real people, incitement to violence or self-harm. https://foreverse.app/ai-content-policy

Image Gen: Yes, optional, through your own image-provider key or pay-as-you-go credits.

Legal & Privacy:

  • TOS: https://foreverse.app/terms
  • Privacy Policy: https://foreverse.app/privacy
  • Data Retention: Characters, chats and books stay on your phone until you delete them. With your own key, requests go straight from the phone to your provider and never touch our servers. On the optional credits channel we keep usage metadata (model, token counts, cost) and a short response preview for billing and troubleshooting; we have not published a fixed retention period yet. You can delete your account from the app or at https://foreverse.app/account/delete.
  • Content Ownership: The Terms don't claim any rights over what you import or generate; you are responsible for it. With your own key, the provider's terms apply too.

Technical Specs:

  • LLM Model: Pure BYOK frontend, 60+ providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, OpenRouter and more) or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, so a proxy works. Optional hosted models via credits; the model name is shown on every reply.
  • Context Size: Whatever the model you pick supports.

Pricing: Free to download, no daily message cap. Free tier holds 3 character cards, 3 books and 3 companions; a one-time Pro purchase ($19.99) lifts the limits. Model costs: your own key at the provider's list price with no markup, or credits (new accounts get 5,000, about $0.50; packs $0.99 to $32.99; they don't expire).

Access: Android 11+ (Google Play) and iPhone (App Store). No web version.

Unique Features: It reads SillyTavern-style character cards on the phone (v1 to v3 PNG/JSON, lorebooks, presets, regex, group chat, voice) without running a server, and doubles as a novel reader where AI continuation happens on branches that keep the original text. Weak spots: third-party SillyTavern extensions don't run, there is no public bot feed, and it is closed source.

Support: https://foreverse.app/discord or support@foreverse.app. Happy to answer questions here.

Foreverse: SillyTavern cards on Android, no Termux

Developer disclosure: I work on Foreverse.

If you've run SillyTavern in Termux, you know the session dies when the screen locks. Foreverse is a native Android app that reads the same files instead of running the server:

  • Character cards v1–v3 (PNG / JSON / .charx), with embedded lorebooks and alternate greetings
  • Lorebooks, presets, regex scripts, Quick Reply with a common STscript subset, group chat
  • Bring your own key for 60+ providers (DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Anthropic, Google…) or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint; keys stay encrypted on the phone
  • Also a novel reader: import an epub and let AI continue it on branches that keep the original

What it doesn't do (honestly): third-party SillyTavern extensions don't run, vectorized lorebook lookup isn't there yet, it's closed source, and it needs Android 11 or newer.

Free to download with no message caps. The free tier is limited to 3 imported character cards, 3 books and 3 companions; a one-time Pro purchase ($19.99) lifts those limits. Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.foreverse.android

Happy to answer questions about card compatibility.

Android AI roleplay: memory, lorebook, dice

Dev here. Foreverse is a SillyTavern-compatible Android AI roleplay app with three separate

continuity layers: long-term facts learned from chat, lorebooks for authored canon, and

context compaction for long sessions. I added a fourth layer for rules: system-side dice the

model cannot quietly rewrite while narrating.

The clip shows that rules layer. I play a museum night guard and lie to an NPC. Before the

story continues, Foreverse runs a Deception check, rolls a real d20 outside the model, then

passes the result back for narration. The receipt under the reply shows which lore was read,

what was rolled, and that the model could not change the result.

Memory is separate from the clip. When enabled, Foreverse extracts durable facts —

preferences, promises, relationships and story state — into local files for that

character/world. You can read, edit, disable or delete every entry, and the same facts can be

recalled across its chat sessions. Lorebooks stay separate as the source of canon; memory

does not overwrite them.

I don't want to hand-wave "long-term memory," so here are the test boundaries. On two

300/400-turn RP fixtures, the production retrieval path surfaced every supporting fact for

76/80 probes (95%). That is retrieval coverage, not a promise that every final reply will be

correct. In separate 500/600-turn context-compaction tests, summaries beat plain truncation

inside the already-compressed region (59% vs 24%), but both weakened at very long distances.

That is why these are three different systems instead of one feature called "memory."

It imports SillyTavern V2/V3 cards, lorebooks / World Info, presets and regex scripts.

Foreverse is independent and is not affiliated with the SillyTavern project. BYOK works with

60+ providers and keys stay on device. Memory and GM mode are opt-in because they add model

calls; the app says that before you enable them. Android 11+ only, no iOS yet.

about the memory split, lore retrieval, context compaction or dice ledger.

Foreverse [Pro Lifetime Giveaway]

Comment anything in the next 48h and I'll DM you a Pro lifetime redeem code - the one-time $19.99 upgrade, yours free. Not a raffle: everyone who comments gets one. (It's my own app, the codes cost me nothing, and honestly I'd rather have your bug reports than your money.)

Hi everyone,

Foreverse is an Android reader for your own txt/epub files, with one unusual property: the book doesn't have to end the way it ended.

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.foreverse.android

The video is one continuous real-screen recording - no mockups, dead waits are cut but nothing is faked. Timestamps:

  • 0:04 import your own files, then it's a normal reader (page-curl, night mode, TTS) - the boring-but-necessary part, kept short
  • 0:27 select a sentence, an illustration of that exact scene lands inline
  • 0:56 the book "ends", type one line of direction and the story streams on, then it offers outlined "what happens next" cards - every pick becomes a real branch, the original text stays intact
  • 2:07 character dossier the app builds while you read (profiles, aliases, galleries)
  • 2:35 theater mode - the same book plays like a visual novel; dialogue attribution runs locally, zero API calls
  • 3:24 the built-in agent reads my shelf with actual tools (it corrected me on how many books I have)
  • 3:55 SillyTavern-compatible character card chat
  • 4:31 an AI companion who still remembers things weeks later
  • 5:36 community novels + settings

Bring your own AI, or don't

  • ~60 BYOK providers: DeepSeek, OpenAI, Gemini, Claude-compatible endpoints, OpenRouter...
  • Keys live in on-device encrypted storage; the app talks directly to your provider, no proxy, no markup
  • No keys? There's a built-in credits channel too
  • Everything is local files; backup/export is a zip

What the Pro code unlocks

  • Unlimited library (free tier caps at 3 books / 3 character cards)
  • Batch backup & zip import/export
  • It's the lifetime unlock, not a subscription
  • AI features are NOT paywalled - free tier has them all

Codes go out by DM - you type it in the app's Account page, no third-party site, no strings attached. I'd genuinely like to hear what breaks on your files - weird chapter headers and encodings are the eternal enemy.
