Finally got to draw my favorite character in the same format I did with Misa the other day! I know it's strange that I made Misa look so much taller compared to this Near and honestly I wasn't paying attention to her proportions 💔 My bad. Anyways I like having to just draw whatever comes to mind which often results in a doodle page like this one (not exactly doodles but you get what I mean). It's therapeutic and I get to put my thoughts on the canvas loosely without having to worry too much about the composition!

Kinda happy with how this turned out! I've been dying to make fanart for like a month now and only had the motivation today. I looooooooove love Near but Misa is so drawable that I had to do hers first. Also made her hair longer cuz it's my preference <3

Newgen Death Note fan here btw... This was quite fun! I don't know how to make Light look less chopped but there's only so much I can do LMAO. I love how everybody else turned out though!!

I just finished watching Death Note and boy this has to be best anime I've seen so far as someone who likes thriller. I knew I always liked the genre, but the mystery and concepts used in this specific story sets the bar high for me. I just turned 20 and I wish I pushed myself to watch/read this a few years ago instead of obsessing over Danganronpa in my teen years.
I'm sick of the protagonist always being the good guy and saying cheesy motivational speeches so Light Yagami being the villain himself was a breath of fresh air. Of course there are also other stories that do that but I live under a rock (I rarely watch anime). But anyway, seeing Light eventually and slowly succumbing to his own actions was an entertaining watch; I never cheered for a protagonist's downfall so hard before. I wonder if anybody else started chuckling when (ending spoiler) >!Matsuda shot Light repeatedly because he deserved that shi!< LMAO
I love the story so much, I've been thinking about it and >!mourning L's death!< ever since it happened (I'm still upset but it had to be done for the story to progress, I guess). I'm on my way to watch other animes of the same genre to see if something else will top this masterpiece of a thriller. My friend recommends me Monster, wish me luck
Oh yeah I'm gonna read the manga too sometime cuz apparently the second half was rushed in the anime. Nevertheless, it was still great, I enjoyed sitting through the entire thing
