Just like the title says, I feel like most books that I read where the FMC was a victim of SA or child abuse or any number of horrors, it often gets brushed over as a past thing that the FMC has already healed mostly for herself.

I want recs where the MMCs have to actively help her heal and that's part of the plot. No DVP within 400 pages lol, I want it to be at least a duology but super long standalones or longer series that don't go on and on for no reason.

Preferences: no FF within the harem, MM is fine as long as FMC is the glue, minimal bully within the harem or sufficient grovel necessary. Okay with super dark pasts and okay with dark present but present can't be caused by the MMCs. Tysm!

So you know how Mason was falsely accused of r*pe and it high key became his personality to absolutely always get consent and the moment he thinks consent isn't there he stops everything and retreats into himself?

I want other books like this, where an MMC or hell even the FMC have been falsely accused of something and they hate the idea that people think they've done whatever it is so much that they go out of their way to ensure they don't become a self fulfilling prophecy.

My preferences: no FF within the harem, MM is fine as long as FMC is the glue, no unforgivable bullying within the harem, and finished series only pls!! Or series finishing within a month at most. Tysm!

You're reading a book and you start wondering if you're reading the same book that the characters are experiencing?

The book I'm reading rn, idk if it's because I can't get into the same mindset as FMC but she keeps doubting that one of the MMCs likes her, but he's been super caretaking and sweet in his own way. Very tsundere but that's how they sold his character (for non-weebs, tsundere means he's a dick to the person he likes and acts like he's not interested but everyone knows he is cuz actions speak louder than words).

Anyway yeah idk if me and FMC are experiencing the same story cuz there's no doubt in my mind mmc likes her but she just keeps repeating "he doesn't even like me" in her narrative.

In the nature of Mother's Day today (Happy mothers Day to all you mothers btw), I'd love some recs with y'all's favorite mothers in RH.

Preferably the FMC is the mom, but if it's FMC's mom or one of the MMCs moms that you want to give a shout out to for being awesome and making the story better, that's fine too!

Just as the title suggests, I have been in the mood for angst but I absolutely despise miscommunication/lack of communication led plots.

If an entire plot could just *not happen* with a simple conversation, I'm miserable the entire read.

No real triggers, though I'm not looking for something super dark. I like dark backstories but not dark "current" story if that makes sense. I also prefer no bully within the harem unless there's amazing grovel and no FF within the harem!

I'm looking for damaged/abused MMCs that everyone is wary of but FMC, with little to no hesitation either due to her own tragic backstory or just the amount of empathy she has, immediately is like "I want to help him and care for him."

I've paused on reading Ghost Alpha Unit series (with Wraith), haven't DNFed it but I just wasn't in the mood for it and I gotta get myself back into it.

I'm okay with MM, no FF.

I know auctioned to the prisoners is like 80% smut 20% plot but I like the bit of plot that's there. I'd like a little more plot, but it's not a big requirement.
