LC Students French Help !

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSevAbR669uAPBl7Hodd5ITTMRkjASv9FZBPukeTuKNGbpaMCA/viewform?usp=publish-editor Doing a bit of research for a project around Leaving Cert French lot of students seem to feel like they know grammar but still can’t actually speak/write French properly or keep up in class, so I made a really short survey (2 mins max) about people’s experience with learning French in school. Would really appreciate any responses 🙏

Any ideas for Language App ?

So I was thinking of building an app or grinds company for MDF over the summer, I know some people and qualified teachers (il be bored anyway). I came here to ask and gather some information, on what issues or problems you have when you study for Spanish, French, Italian, German, and what solution would you like to see in place e.g. oral practise 1v1 , listening and translate, or grammar application etc . if anybody would be interested in something like that. I wanted to hear some feedback and suggestion or ideas to include (ofc free of charge for lc students) 😉 (not advertising or anything)

now that 6th Year is over, what was the hardest part about learning languages like Spanish, French or German?

Now that school’s basically finished been thinking back on languages and how differently everyone experienced them. Some people were naturally good at speaking but terrible at listening exams, others could memorise essays but completely panic in orals. Personally, it always felt like you could spend hours learning vocab or grammar just to forget half of it a week later.

I’m curious what other people found hardest over the years confidence, motivation, pronunciation, listening comprehensions, remembering vocab, grammar, or just trying to keep up with everything?

Problems with French ?

5th year here and genuinely struggling with French, tried at it for a while and it's just not clicking the way other subjects do. Been trying a few things but nothing's really made a massive difference yet.

Curious what it was like for 6th years or anyone who's done the LC with a foreign language what were the biggest challenges you ran into? and what solutions worked and how did you fix it any apps or stuff that helped. Especially around things like the written exam, listening, or just keeping up with the course overall.

No agenda just want to hear how other people dealt with it honestly
