I got this 14.5 inch lava lamp for my birthday 2 months ago. Never once has it properly flowed. Some wax stays on the top but most of it is at the bottom. Ive left it on for hours, put it in a room with not ventilation, melted the wax at the top so it goes back down and mixes with the stuff at the bottom, cycled it, nothing. It seems like all the wax is melted it just doesn't move. I'm just not sure what to do and would appreciate any help. ​Ive thought about getting a different bulb (I'm using the 25 watt that came with it) or a dimmer switch, I just can't tell if the lamp is too hot or too cold, or if it's a different problem entirely​.
