Is it normal for the trade in value to not match the promo trade in value?
I am trading in an older phone which has a trade in value of $35.00.
However, I am using the following promo:
- On Us with any condition trade Promo ID: Google Pixel Promo with Trade (ID260461)
This promo apparently provides a $799 credit towards a Pixel 10.
When I add my trade in device, it very clearly says the value is $35.00. The phone is in mint condition so no issues there.
Is it normal for the trade in value to not match the promo trade in value?
When checking out, under the "Trade-in device," details, it then does say "credit of $33.34/mo for 24 months," which makes the new Pixel 10 free.
EDIT: If it makes a difference, the line that is being upgraded is an "Unlimited On Us Discount" line where I get that line for free. The phone is listed as "BYOD-ANDROID." If the promo sticks, I might trade in my old Samsung S8 instead of the Pixel 6a that I was planning on trading. If it doesn't work for the S8, I will trade in the 6a.
