Background: 22 years old, Associate in Business Management, No kids currently but plan to have them in 2-3 years.

Current job - Healthcare Administrator: $23.80/hour.

Benefits: 6 hours of PTO earned bi-weekly and 16 hours of wellness days a year. Low stress and good coworkers.

Insurance: $400 deductible and $3,000 out of pocket max.

$59.40 - medical - biweekly

$1.44 - dental - biweekly

$1.75 - vision - biweekly

Cons: No room for growth, underappreciated for extra work (such as training and helping other clinics), low trust given the company laid off hundreds of employees, census is low for my center, which makes me think they could consider closing it.

Local Insurance Company - Insurance adjuster: $52,000/year

Benefits: 401k is matched up to 6%. 18 days of PTO right off the bat. The company will pay for me to obtain my AIC, and I will make more money once I do. Plenty of room for growth as skills can be transferable to plenty of jobs. Insurance experience is also good for my resume. Work from home on Fridays. 7 paid holidays, but must work days around holidays when first hired.

Insurance: $2000 deductible, $3,000 out-of-pocket max.

$16.23 - dental - biweekly

Cons: 30-minute commute which is likely going to be 40-45 with traffic. Could be high stress. Very repetitive.

Local University - Students Account Specialist: $46,500/year

Benefits: No social security tax - either state pension or ARP. Tuition remission for myself, spouse, and children. 10 hours of sick leave per month (accrues with no cap). 1.67 days vacation time per month (max is 240 hours), 11 paid holidays, and some ability to work from home (unsure of details). 10-minute commute. Ability to obtain a bachelor's degree for free, and either move up at the university or leave for a higher-paying job.

State pension: Vesting schedule, mandatory contribution of 10%, university contributes 11.5% for defined contribution, 14% for defined benefit. (I don't really understand)

Alternative Retirement Plan: Defined contribution plan, immediate vesting, university contributes 11.6%, mandatory contribution of 10%

Insurance: PPO Plan - $1,100 deductible - $3,000 out-of-pocket max

$148 - medical - monthly

$0 - basic dental
