What smart buttons are recommended?

I want a smart button to control lights and perhaps a speaker in the bedroom as I'm looking to remover the Google Hub from there.

Ideally I don't want an extra hub, but this isn't a deal breaker. What would people here recommended please.

Located in UK if it makes a difference.

What a difference 2years makes.

Today is the two year anniversary of this little monster coming to live with me.

Left pic he is 10 weeks old, right 2 years and 10 weeks.
