I just got hired as a nanny and I’m supposed to start Monday. In the interview they asked if I drive and said they have a car for me to use, but they didn’t ask about tickets or my driving record. I’m going to be added as an employee of their company so it’s their company car.

I just got the contract and it says a “clean driver’s abstract is required.” I do have one minor speeding ticket from Nov 2024 (15 km over, no demerit points), but nothing else.

They haven’t asked me for my abstract yet or anything about my driving history.

Now I’m not sure what to do, should I text the parents and mention the ticket or just wait until/if they ask for the abstract?
