Englewood Restaurants & Filtering Water (or lack of)

I need to hear some opinions on this:

We all know the water here is awful (although some claim they can't taste it).

Most of us do some kind of filtering at home (I've been here two months and have found the Wedell Duo shower filter and CuZn under-sink filter are my best options as a renter)

If someone has recs, lmk.

Anyway,

I've noticed that most restaurants here don't filter water at all. Which means not only is their water undrinkable, but they are also cooking everything in this water. This means the taste comes through in things like rice or pasta.

For example, I recently tried Gallo Italian Supper Club. I had one sip of the water, and asked the waiter if at least their soda machine was filtered. He said yes, and then brought me a Sprite that still tasted like good ol' Englewood water.

Is this normal? Is this acceptable? I'm paying over $100 for two people, and I'm drinking shit water. Can they not afford a filter? Do other people just not taste it?

The only restaurant I've tried so far that had okay water was Zomo. It definitely isn't perfect, but you can tell it is somewhat filtered. I haven't gotten their pho because I'm scared it will be nasty water pho.

Ironically, the only place of business that has great water is my barbershop, Sam Hills. They have an RO in there for client water. However, they did admit they still wash your hair with regular old Englewood water.

Do you all just go to restaurants outside of Englewood? Or bring some water from home? Even at chains like chipotle, you can still taste the Englewood water through a soda.

I used to come to Englewood before moving here for Aung's, and I'd go grab bottled water from the 7/11 next door.

Curious to hear all of your thoughts and opinions. I think I'll be moving away at the end of my lease. This water is just too bad and too pervasive.

***EDIT****
I am extremely surprised by the response here. Maybe this sub/or Englewood as a whole selects for people who are unbothered by the water here? And anyone who tastes it once decides not to move/live here?

Everyone I've spoken to in real life agrees it is awful and proceeds to tell me about their filter setup. I ask people everytime I walk the dog.
