I plan on ebonizing my ash wood strat body and add a few coats of tru oil. The image shows how the wood will look afterwards. You can see that the grain is still bright cause the ebonizer didnt reach deep enough. How do I make the ebonizer go deeper into the wood? I applied the ebonizer with a sponge if that matters.
