Looking at going to Playa Esmeralda in October for my birthday. It looks good online and the price is right. But I talked to one friend who said she went and had a really bad experience. She said the food wasn’t great and there was not a lot of air-conditioning. She said the sports bar was the only place with AC. For those of you who have been there, can you tell me if it’s worth going please? What did you like and what did you not like? Also I know October is hit or miss with the weather, I live in Florida. I’m getting travel insurance just in case.
