As I’m sure many of you with POTS also deal with, my Facebook and Instagram feeds are constantly full of ads for “POTS-friendly” products. Lately, I keep seeing ads for the “Visible” armband. From what I can tell, it seems pretty similar to what an Apple Watch or Fitbit already does.

I currently use my Apple Watch to monitor my heart rate and alert me if it stays above 120 bpm for more than a few minutes, since that’s usually when I know I’m heading toward a crash. I’m curious if the Visible armband is actually helpful and worth looking into, or if it’s just another targeted ad that pops up because I interact with POTS-related content online lol.
