I was doing a step by step main lining tutorial and it said to cut all growth expect the two fan leaves. I guess i shouldn't have cut the two nice shoots above.

Edit: It's a backup of a big outdoor strain. I don't really feel bad about, just a bit stupid. I'm not after the highest yield either.

I used the RQS tutorial, it was slightly unclear about what to cut (it said to cut all growth expect the two fan leaves), but with a bit of thinking I wouldn't have cut the side branches.
