Experiencing frame drops with new pc in cs2
Recently I got my brothers old pc that I believe has fairly good specs, and should run cs2 without an issue. However when trying games, I experience massive frame drops. I believe I've narrowed down the main culprits to my monitors, and problems with g-sync. When playing on my main monitor with my second monitor disconnected the game mostly runs fine. When both monitors are on, frame drops appear.
When the frame drops appear, I'm able to get rid off them via a series of turning my monitors on and off again as well as turning g-sync on and off in the NVCP. However, there never seems to be a setting that works forever in my testing, sometimes the game runs smooth with g-sync on my secondary display and sometimes off on both of them, its never constant.
I was just wondering if I am missing something that you guys would be able to help me with. The whole ordeal of switching settings and monitors on and off takes about 5 minutes only for me to have to do it again on the next restart or sometimes in the middle of a game.
