Relentless Scratching
Hi, I have this sweet 3 year old tabby girl and ever since I got her she has seemed to be hyper fixated on scratching on things she shouldn’t. I know this sounds normal but I have tried EVERYTHING.
I redirected her to different scratching posts when she was scratching, I even got her a mat that she could scratch on but scratches the carpet under it!!
I’ve tried keeping her busy but it seems like only treat puzzles and toys that will obsess over 24/7 therefore she can’t have, work for her. She has a big cat tree that she is barely interested in and even has a brother that she gets along great with.
At this point I don’t know what else she needs, she will just cry and cry and cry till I look at her but I don’t have any clue what she wants. She even started scratching my couch which is massively out character. Sorry for the rant but please help me.
