i think around 3.3-3.5k rank in advance 2026 but i have a lot of interest in mechanical, so thats why considering mech over industrial.

obviously people here will say roorkee is better, but just want to get opinions anyways.

Is roorkee a good place to be (thoda hostel ki condition batado?) iitkgp ka subreddit toh itna crisis mei hai abhi, about mess and convocation so im less inclined. mechanical ki faculty, competitions like SAE, other clubs like music clubs, grading, etc. ka thoda idea dedo people who have been here for a long time please
