Memories Not Working Correctly?
Hi all,
I’ve been attempting a longer-form story on the Advanced AI Chat (https://perchance.org/ai-character-chat) and specifically, I’m wanting to know how best to establish deep prior histories/relationships and key events between characters. I had previously inputted a summary of ‘previous’ events into the /mem section, but the bots don’t appear to be able to read from these anymore - possibly because there are too many memories and it is only reading most recent ones? It was working at the beginning of the chat, but now characters are consistently forgetting basic details.
I also tried inputting a chronology of events with dates into a lorebook, but this, too, didnt work.
The only success I had was inputting a summary of key previous events into the /sum section, but this keeps being overwritten by the system.
I have ensured Long-Term memory is enabled, any idea what I may be doing wrong? Or am I misunderstanding something? Or is what I’m wanting simply not possible under the current system?
