Help me identify this 2 Pin connector from the fire button Class of 81 Galaga/Ms Pacman

Trying to identify a 2-pin connector on an Arcade1Up Class of '81 cabinet.

Trying to upgrade a fire button I damaged one of the 2-pin button connectors and I'm trying to identify the connector family so I can order replacements.

thought it might be JST-PH, but the connector kits I ordered don't match the size or shape. I'm a newb

I attached a couple of pictures

Thanks.

Class of 81 Deluxe - IL Eurojoystick Install help

https://preview.redd.it/u9k4vrpjpo4h1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a3f46720adb463a5497214080d9830eea93916cd

Class of '81 Deluxe owner here looking for some advice before I start drilling.

I purchased the Showtime Arcade Mods IL Eurojoystick (Arcade1Up modified version) along with their harness and restrictor. https://showtimearcademods.com/products/il-eurojoystick-red-standard-or-arcade1up-modified

I removed the factory joystick and found that the IL joystick shaft centers correctly in the control panel opening, but the mounting plate holes do not line up with the factory Arcade1Up holes at all.

I contacted Showtime and they confirmed:

  • I received the correct Arcade1Up-modified version
  • The factory holes are not intended to be reused
  • The important thing is centering the shaft in the opening

Before I start drilling pilot holes, has anyone installed this exact joystick in a Class of '81 Deluxe (or similar Deluxe cabinet)?

A few questions:

  1. Did you drill new pilot holes?
  2. What screws did you use?
  3. Any tips or things you wish you knew before drilling?
