Q50 bad turbos
Hey all, I recently bought a 2017 Q50 3.0 PREMIUM with 90k miles. I drove it for about a 3 weeks took it to get maintenance at a take 5, got oil filter and oil changed fluids all topped off,the usual. 2 weeks later I notice my car starts smoking from the exhaust very heavily upon acceleration and idle. Usually this only happened noticeably bad when the car was heated up (ran for about 10-15 minutes). I then parked it for the night checked oil the next morning to realize the oil level was close to empty. Didn’t move it for almost 1 week took it to get diagnosed and I get a 7.4 k quote for new turbos. I don’t know what to do I just bought the car for 10,000 and I have no where near the amount of money left for a repair this expensive. Anyway I need advice if there’s anyway to be able to find a cheaper mechanic if I should just accept my complete loss.
