The National At-Home Dad Network is announcing Danny Mercer, Lorne Jaffe, and Dale VanVlerah as facilitators for our 30th convention mental health groups.

These "Dads Gotta Talk" sessions are a safe place to share what’s stressing you out, or just to listen and realize you aren't alone. We respect every dad in the room, and we have one main rule: What is said in the room stays in the room. 🤫🤝

If you’ve been feeling isolated, this is the place to reconnect.

Note: Peer-to-peer support only, not medical or professional.

See you in Chicago?

We spend so much time taking care of everyone else that we often forget to check in on ourselves. Silence the shame—speaking up is a strength, not a flaw. 🦾

If you need a tribe that gets it, we’ve got your back: 💬 Dads Gotta Talk Zoom sessions (regular virtual support). 💬 HomeDadCon Breakout sessions (annual in-person connection).

Let’s keep the conversation going. What’s one thing that helps you recharge when you’re feeling overwhelmed?

Foster care is all about providing a safe, loving environment when it's needed most. It isn't always easy, but it’s incredibly important work. 💙

To the foster dads here: What has been the most rewarding part of your journey?

The team at The National At-Home Dad Network (TNAHDN) knows that "staying at home" doesn't mean leaving your professional goals behind. However, finding a career path that truly respects your role as a primary caregiver can be a significant challenge.

We are excited to announce that Derek Tetlow will be addressing this topic specifically in a breakout session at the 30th Annual HomeDadCon in Chicago this October. His session, "I Want a Job, But What Jobs Can I Do?", focuses on navigating professional transitions while maintaining your status as an involved father.

Our convention is a great place to network and find resources that understand your unique family dynamics.
